Care of the Flambadou

 The Flambadou has a protective, food-safe coating for transportation. We recommend that it is washed with hot soapy water before first use.

After use, wash again with soapy water and apply a light coat of vegetable oil to keep it in good condition.

Use of the Flambadou

  1. Place the cone of the Flambadou on the hot coals until it is red hot.
  2. Fill with butter or a solid fat.
  3. Hold the Flambadou cone above the roasting meat.
  4. Put the fat into the red hot cone. You can add as little or as much fat as you wish and repeated use throughout the cooking process delivers the best results.
