Steak & Parmesan Salad - Serves 2

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes


  • 2 sirlion steaks
  • Drizzle of oil olive
  • Handful of rocket
  • 1 tbsp parmesan
  • Drizzle of balsamic vinegar
  • Seasoning


  1. Snip the edge of the steak fat to prevent the meat from curling
  2. Season the meat on both sides and leave to rest at room temperature 
  3. Oil a Zhara Pan and place on the hottest part of Kadai Grill 
  4. Sear the meat for 2 minutes on each side, taking care not to overcook
  5. Move the Zhara Pan to the edge of the Kadai where it is cooler and cook according to your preference (Rare, 2 minutes. Well done, 4 minutes)
  6. Transfer to a plate a and rest for 5 minutes
  7. Place of a bed of rocket and sprinkle with parmesan 
  8. Drizzle over some balsamic vinegar
