This item once seasoned is a great addition to the collection, excellent to sear those steaks and chicken before adding to the grill. I would highly recommend this.

This is a superb pan. So far I have only used it to cook a couple of steaks to perfection then moved the pan away from the heat with the lid over to rest before serving. It was without doubt the finest tasting rib eye I have cooked. This pan is a work of art. When not using it for cooking, I am considering mounting it on the wall! All Kadai accessories i have bought seem of the best quality

We love our Wilstone Kadai. It’s everything we hoped it would be, and more besides. It’s heavy and authentic-looking, so it’s attractive in the garden when we’re not using it. And In use, it works superbly. I had been concerned we might burn through a lot of charcoal, but actually we find it economical. When we have finished cooking it’s really pleasant to throw a couple of logs on and enjoy it as a fire pit. Thank you helpful Kadai people!

Well yes, you can and I have.
I’ve also cooked a small loaf of bread, cookies and potato wedges at various times.
The only negative for me is it could do with being a little bigger. I could only just fit in a small chicken.
Kadai please make a bigger version too!

bought this for new years eve to slow roast the top half of a lamb. I didnt use the hooks, just wired the lamb to the holes in the cross. Combined with the flambadou for added effect and flavour (that thing needs to be red hot to work well). Absolutely fun to use and makes delicious smoked food

Whilst shopping for compost we found a Kadai pizza oven for sale which caught our attention because we have the fire bowl and a few accessories . We decided to purchase it as we know how good the products are. We tried it this evening making home made pizzas. Best pizzas ever , perfectly cooked absolutely delicious then sat out using heat from fire bowl to keep warm. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an outdoor pizza oven along with fire bowl 10 out of 10

I must admit I was sceptical about it but thought I would give it a go.
The item arrived promptly and I was impressed with the build quality. I did as the instructions directed, lit a fire, filled it with dry wood and watched the smoke come out of it! The smoke then turned into an orange flame as the gasses burnt off and once that had ended, I let the fire go out. I returned a few hours later, check it was cool enough to handle and opened it - to find charcoal (I don't what else I expected to find!).
Quite simply - it works! I have since done another batch and now have a bag full of charcoal. I have plenty of wood to burn, so will experiment with different types going forward but I highly recommend getting one if you have access to wood to turn into charcoal and enough scrap wood to keep the fire going.

This is superb. We did a full roast dinner using this. Roast potatoes done on the Kadai taste amazing - truly delicious.

Also been used for beef short ribs, pulled pork, reverse seared tomahawk steak, allsorts. Just get a decent BBQ probe set where you can have one on the grill to monitor temperature and one in the meat and you can cook anything in it
