Fantastic Bit of Kit!!
I was sceptical about this, but this fantastic bit of kit has my kadai ready to cook in under 15mins. It's so convenient and so quick. It eradicates all that long, frustrating wait for your coals to be ready before you can start to cook and because it is so quick, it transforms the way you use your Kadai, making it a far more regular thing instead of weekends only. They have also altered the design and incorporated a protective plate to guard the wooden handle - this is good because the handle on my original charcoal starter got so hot that it split and fell off. Also the inside base plate fell out! I have high hopes for my new one!!

Perfect.
This is quite frankly amazing. I had high hopes for it and I have always wanted a full size pizza oven. This was bought as a more practical alternative and it works perfectly. The pizzas cook in under 3 minutes, are crispy underneath and browned on the top. I would fully recommend it.

The best flatbreads ever...
We love this Kadai tool for doing flatbreads. Having converted from charcoal barbecue and then a wood-fired clay oven, firebowls are the only way for us. So communal and entertaining, and super-delicious.
This zhara pan is a serious bit of kit, reassuringly sturdy and well-made but not heavy, this is perfect for proper flatbreads or as authentic as you will get without a tandoor.
We rest it on the edge of the firebowl to get the right angle over the logs we use. It is great whilst the logs are not fully down to grey/red embers as we can start eating before it is ready to grill over properly.
Our favourite flatbread recipe is just bread flour, good oil, warm water and spices, then we break out the houmous, guacamole, tzakiki and salsa with cocktails.
Did I mention we love it?!?!

perfect paella
and perfect jambalaya too!
My better half's favourite is paella with ex-pat parents in Spain, and having converted to the joys of log-fired firebowl cooking, and investing in this serious paella pan, she is one happy lady.
It is properly heavy to stop the bottom from sticking too much, but gives the authentic crust, it is a great size for 6 - 8 people. And of course leftovers reheat so well in the microwave for a speedy supper on Monday nights!
I actually prefer to cook jambalaya in it, the similar Cajun dish with long grain rice, it is even easier than paella plus packs a spicy zing.
We love this paella pan like all the Kadai kit, serious and long-lasting, a great investment x

Amazing Fire Bowl!
After having my eye on a fire bowl for a couple of years, I finally bit the bullet and got myself one this year. Boy am I glad I did! I use this for cooking on more than a firepit - it's so versatile. Wherever hanging a bowl of chilli over the fire or grilling directly over the embers, I'm in my happy place! Nothing better than sitting around a fire with friends, cooking, drinking and laughing. One of the best purchases I've made!

Superb
I used these for the first time yesterday and am very very impressed. The skewers are sharp, sturdy and will last years. The rack stops the meat from sticking to the grill by holding it just above. The square profiled skewers can be turned 1/4 turn at a time so the meat cooks evenly. I made 4 chicken and 4 lamb skewers. They stayed succulent and were delicious.

Much more than a Barbecue
We have had our 80cm Kadai for a year now and have never done so much outdoor cooking. It is so versatile. Last night we had kebabs using the Kadai skewer set, last week we made Kleftiko using the tripod and cooking bowl. The kids then had marshmallows for desert. Everyone who has a BBQ at our house is impressed with the Kadai. It has made me passionate about outdoor cooking. Sunday roast next!

The most versatile accessory
We bought these at the same time as the Kadai itself and use these every time we BBQ. They are excellent for scallops, prawns, fish, vegetables, anything. Pan fried scallops and black pudding over a wood fire is just delicious. Keep them seasoned and they will last forever

Excellent for family stews
When is a BBQ not a BBQ? When its a Kadai with a suspended cooking bowl. Anything you make in a pan you can make in this. Curry, Kleftiko, Stew, they have all been made in ours. After washing, re season it to preserve the non-stick properties and prolong the life. Its made of thick enough steel to last ages though.

Homemade charcoal at it's simplest
My son and I gathered up some branches we had pruned from our Damson tree last year which were nice and dry, cut them to fit the Charcoal Maker, added some other bits of Silver Birch we had then had a Barbecue.
Afterwards the whole family gathered around the Kadai with a drink and we put the Charcoal Maker in as instructed. The following day I did indeed have charcoal. I was amazed though how much the contents had reduced in size. Probably 75% less volume than I started with.
