Make your own charcoal by filling with wood, placing in a lit Kadai firebowl and whilst you enjoy the fire the wood magically turns into fabulous charcoal ready for the following day.
My son and I gathered up some branches we had pruned from our Damson tree last year which were nice and dry, cut them to fit the Charcoal Maker, added some other bits of Silver Birch we had then had a Barbecue.
Afterwards the whole family gathered around the Kadai with a drink and we put the Charcoal Maker in as instructed. The following day I did indeed have charcoal. I was amazed though how much the contents had reduced in size. Probably 75% less volume than I started with.
