Chaptai Pan Pancakes - Serves 12

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 3 minutes


  • 2 free range eggs
  • 100g plain flour
  • 275ml milk
  • 50g butter
  • Sugar / lemon

    1. Put the flour in a bowl, make a well, mix in eggs, and beat in milk.
    2. Whisk until it resembles double cream.
    3. Put a knob of butter on Chapati Pan and heat over Kadai till very hot.
    4. Place a generous dollop of batter, tilt and cook pancakes till brown on both sides.
    5. Serve immediately with lemon or sugar.
